Sustainability Project

Sustainability Project

Our sustainability project aims at availing resources to sustain the works of the foundation. We revised means of how to start up sustainability projects which would sustain the need within the foundation. So far we got 2 major projects from where we are in position to avail resources to cater for the needs of the foundation. These are Agriculture/Farming and Love Uganda Safaris.

The Agriculture/farming project within our centre focuses on availing food supplies for our children and all caretakers at the centre. Among the activities we carry out at the farms include; crop cultivation ranging from beans, peas, maize, irish and sweet potatoes, groundnuts from where we derive the paste and make great local meals for our children and greens as well.

Our agricultural sustainability project emphasizes fresh produce from our farms being availed to our children. Being this nutritious, it enables our children have a healthy life. We do as well plant easonal fruits forexample passion fruits, mangoes, ovacado, the famous Jack fruit etc.

With the vision expanding, there is need to expand our agricultural sustainability project as well through means that have been revised by our very own experienced staff. Under this very same sector, we look forward to openning up a livestock farm where domestic animals will be reared so as to acquire animal fresh products from our own farm. Among the animals to be reared are poultry and cattle ranging from sheep, goat, cows etc. The produce to be acquired is fresh milk, beef from cattle, eggs from poultry etc. This will enable our children take a balanced diet and thus improve on health being of everybody in our orphanage.

Love Uganda Safaris

As the need expanded we felt the urge to revise our sustainability project, and thus the establishment of Love Uganda Safaris. Love Uganda Safaris is our very own tours and travels company registered and recognized by the government body extending tour and travel services to tourists within and outside the country. Regarding Love Uganda Foundation, the Safaris company was started as an initiative as well a sustainability project towards contributing and sustaining on the day to day activities of the foundation.

We directly donate 40% of the proceedings to the Orphanage/childcare ministry of Love Uganda Foundation.

My son and I had a good time sharing moments with everyone at the Foundation. I was especially glad to see the much you treasure in having young orphans live a normal life with education, health, shelter and above all, good social life that most orphans tend to lack. The care you give to them is tremendous. Also, I want to appreciate the way you are grooming them with Christianity, teaching them to know God. It is very important. I was surprised that you also contain Muslims under your care ...

My visit to the orphanage foundation is the best thing I have ever done in my life. The foundation has beautiful and well-behaved children who like to share with everyone. While there, I had a great time to spending 2 weeks with the amazing children who enabled me to experience the best African experience. I remember Frank, an orphan at the foundation who had the greatest smile ever; I enjoyed the African food which was very sweet and fresh fruits from the garden. The trip organized for me by Emma ...

At the time when I contacted you, I had two mindsets. One mindset told me that I would land on con men like I had done before. But on the contrary, I got to prominent guys whose dream is to influence the next generation. I was motivated by all that you do. Taking care of Orphans and Widows is seen as not very important in the eyes of many, you are however, different. I was glad that my first donation helped kids to get clothes. I will always send in ...
