Meet Atieno Eunice Cynthia
Cynthia’s life began with rejection. When her mother became pregnant, the father denied the pregnancy and refused responsibility. After giving birth, her mother left Cynthia at her grandmother’s home and later got married to another man who does not know about Cynthia’s existence. Sadly, her mother never returned to check on her.
Her elderly grandmother struggled to provide even the most basic needs. With no proper supervision or support, Cynthia was often seen wandering around the village alone, vulnerable and uncared for. Concerned community members reached out to Love Uganda Foundation as a last hope to rescue her from a life of neglect and uncertainty.
Today, Cynthia is safe and protected. She is in school and slowly healing from the early rejection she experienced. She smiles more now, plays with other children, and is beginning to dream again. But she still needs someone special who will stand for her, believe in her, and walk with her into a brighter future.
