Meet Namubiru Sophie
Namubiru Sophie is a 2-year-old girl born on 10/03/2019 in Katete, Kasawo Mukono district, the last born of four children and only girl to her late parents Mr. Ssekoono Isma and Ms. Bakanansa Alut.
Sophie’s father died before her mother passed on due to flu, cough, chest pain, and malaria on 3rd December 2019. Sophie and her brothers were then left with her grandmother whose income is not certain since she is just an old peasant farmer, taking care of so many other children. The grandmother thus sought help from Love Uganda Foundation and Sophie was taken through the screening process and successfully registered under our orphanage.
