HOW OUR LOVE ACTIVITY EMPOWERS THE LOCAL COMMUNITIES?

Occasionally, several Non-Government organizations have given up on their major goals and objectives of empowering local communities that they started with. As time goes on, the greed for money takes them over and only start to think about how to better their lives.

But Love Uganda Foundation, we still look back to our first vision and mission, they are the biggest motivation that drive us each day to come up with different ideas of how to best reach out to souls that are nearly giving up on life in the local communities of Uganda.

From the very start, we have never gotten tired of doing our best to change the lives of vulnerable people in Uganda, whether children, the aged, disabled women, poor youth and widows among others.

Putting aside our orphanage in Kalagi, which is our daily obligation to make sure that the children there are always fine, we also cam e up with the Love Uganda Foundation love activity. The activity has different programs that empower the local communities like community outreaches to some of Uganda’s most remote areas and school reach outs to help the children who can’t even afford the scholastic materials and tuition.

The community outreaches empower the local communities with various life expanding skills. We avail the communities we visit with educative and sensitization programs that impart them with knowledge on how to improve their standards of living.

Besides educative programs, Love Uganda Foundation also donates basic life materials like food, clothes, drinking water, scholastic materials, shoes and others to the local people to support, change lives and empower the next generation.

When Love Uganda Foundation visits local communities, it conducts workshops that educate masses about health matters, business growth and poverty eradication programs among others. It is through such activities that we extend our generosity and love to people in the local communities. This empowers the people in all life aspects, be it spiritual, social or even economic.

The school reach outs also support parents that don’t have funds to pay school fees for their children, Love Uganda Foundation takes them to school and caters for everything. Then the kids that are in the worst conditions, when they are nearly giving up on and their parents are facing consequences of absolute poverty, we take them to our orphanage in Kalagi. Still we adopt the orphaned children in the remote areas who don’t have relatives

Children who are rejected by their parents for small body deformities and treatable diseases plus some who escape the torment of child labor and abuse from often relatives are reached out to through our love activities.

The Love Uganda Foundation love activities also involve birthday celebrations for the disabled children in Uganda at the different schools of the disabled. This rebuilds the purpose of lives of the disabled children, just knowing that some people think about them and still love them regardless of their deformities. During this activity, love Uganda also donates some stuff to the disabled children like shoes, scholastic materials among others.
