We work hand in hand with other community care organisations, they are our partners in various fields. We do extend support and help to ensure that the communities in which they extend services are restored and empowered. Our partners include; Children Reach Out Uganda, Ruhijja Orphan Care School and Kampala School for the disableds.
Children Reach Out Uganda
Love Uganda Foundation has been working in close partnership with Children Reach Out Uganda since 2016. C.R.O.U is a community-based organization that extends care and support to children of all kinds. It avails them with education and training them in various life skills.
C.R.O.U was started by a role model to many children in the slums of Kampala city, uncle Edwin. Having lived his whole life in the slums, Edwin felt the need to empower his once slum communities by reaching out to the children in these areas.
Love Uganda Foundation has so far been in partnership with C.R.O.U for a year and has contributed to the supporting of the Children Gala for Hope under the theme; “Preventing Child Violence”.
Kampala School for the Physically Handicapped
Kampala School for the Physically Handicapped also known as Uganda Spastics School is located in Mengo, Kampala. It was founded in the 60’s to look after physically impaired children. Their mission is to educate, rehabilitate and equip physically handicapped children for development and self reliance.
We have made several outreaches and missions that have greatly impacted the children in this school. We look forward to having even more years of our great partnership to ensure that physically handicapped children are as well supported and cared for that should, in turn, become useful and important citizens of our country.
Love Uganda Safaris
Love Uganda Safaris is a tours and travels company which started in 2014. It is a sister organization to Love Uganda Foundation and as well its main source of funding. LUS started as a sustainability project by the late Emmanuel MacMillan Kitumba towards funding the activities within the foundation. Love Uganda Safaris is dedicated to availing transportation and vehicles during missions and outreaches organized by the Love Uganda Foundation.
Not only does Love Uganda Safaris avail transportation means for the mission teams; but also donates 40% of all the proceeds gotten from every safari or tours carried out to facilitate on the foundation activities.
Ruhijja Community Orphans and Needy School
Ruhijja Community Orphans and Needy School is a nursery and primary school dedicated to providing education to orphaned children in the community at a low cost. The Ruhijja Community School is located in Ruhijja, Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park. It extends its education services to about 150 children.
LUF partners with this school by providing school fees to 30 orphaned children and scholastic materials to the whole school and funds to help prepare lunch meals for both the children and staff.
Capital Shoppers’ Supermarket – Ntinda
Capital Shoppers’Supermarket is one leading supermarket in Uganda that has partnered with Love Uganda Foundation for 3 years now and have so much been a blessing to the activities going on with Love Uganda Foundation. Capital Shoppers Supermarket has consistently supported the events organized by the foundation and has campaigned so much about the activities carried out by Love Uganda Foundation in “Empowering Africa’s Next Generation”.
