Uganda Society & Children of Uganda
There can be no keener revelation of a society’s soul than the way it treats its children. -Nelson Mandela, former president of South Africa.
Many children today in Uganda have to face a task of figuring out how to live life on their own, how to deal with continuous changes and growth which is mostly associated with loopholes in their sexuality, acquiring of habits, need for a sense of belonging which often is attained with wrong ideologies further complicating their emotions and negatively affecting their character and personality at later stages. This often is the plight of many orphans, abandoned children/babies, abused, disabled as well street children.
It is therefore our obligation as society to model children in the way they will become tomorrow, instilling in them proper morals, educating all life aspects that in turn they may become a beam of sunlight from the infinite and eternal, with possibilities of virtue and vice yet unstained.
